It is absolutely beautiful this time of year. Cool weather, and wonderful color. Clean and well kept.
We camped in campground 1 with full hookup. Was typical RV sites with rows of campers. Easy access to stream flow from Bennett Spring. Campgrounds 2-5 are up the hill and in wooded areas allowing for a little more privacy, which is great if you don't need water and sewer hookups.
Loved our weekend away here! It was kept clean and everyone was friendly.
Trout tags are fairly priced and easy to get!
Will definitely be back for more summer fun!
We stayed in camp 3. Decent spots, fairly spaced. The front entrance ladies were extremely friendly and kind. Very helpful. Clean thru the park. However the shower house/bathrooms near our camp had a major wasp issue. Normally I wouldn't mind, because it's outside and you sort of expect it, but this was actually a huge issue and we came very close to getting stung. And with multiple kids in the process almost getting stung multiple times.... They need to be better maintained. We enjoyed feeding the fish and watching people spend time fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Lots to do. Although next time we will be staying elsewhere as you do not have water access directly in the park.
