We went months ago for the haunted float. The float was very cool and things looked very nice. I can't say anything about accommodations but the campground looked well kept.
Don't waste your money! The mini fridge in our cabin was filthy, the toilet hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long, the fridge was disgusting and had knats in it. Just plain gross! And the haunted river float was a complete joke. Don't waste your money!!
Cabin was disgusting. Fridge wouldn't even shut without having to slam the door. Stairs going into the cabin will eventually cause an injury when it snaps off at any time. Law suit? The staff are super unfriendly. The owner and his manager are probably the most disrespectful out of them all. They accuse people for "assault on a minor" and get police involved with no evidence. Just "hear say" of the minor. OH, and they don't give any bandaids-- don't fall and scrape your knee or anything. Not worth the drive/money. NOT TO MENTION, had to find a hotel at 1AM after being kicked out for said assault 😬
Best Halloween deal around.
Haunted hay ride, haunted half mile river raft float at night, haunted corn maze and haunted house all for 35 bucks! Oh and 1 night of primitive camping is included.
Upgrade to include ax throwing, zombie paintball and an escape room for another 40 bucks.
Such a blast this is my groups 4th year in a row. Go check it out, you won't be sorry.
2hr drive from St. Louis area.
Did the basic package for $35 which included hay ride, hunted float, hunted forest, corn maze, and hunted house. You could really see the stars while we were on the hay ride. Was disappointed in the hunted float only one person tried to scare us was expecting some jump scares or something in the water. The hunted forest was brief but nicely done. The corn maze was awesome you can't see anything and your just walking into the dark. The hunted house was the best they went all out!! The amount of detail with the decorations and the way it was set up was perfect! The actors were amazing they wanted to make your experience the best it could be. Didn't like the fact that we paid online but had to pay more when we got there because we were told that was just the deposit. We rented an RV it was nice, clean, 1 bed, 1 pullout couch, working fridge and freezer, toilet area is very small. Can you bring kids? Yes but I don't recommend it unless they are older.
