We do a lot of hiking throughout the western US and have been very impressed by Utah State Parks. The staff were very pleasant, the facilities were excellent and the views were jaw dropping. As compared to Bryce, we had no issues with parking or overcrowded vistas. We hiked two trails (Panorama and Angels Palace) which were both excellent but Angels Palace is one of our favorite short hikes to date. And applause for having a dog friendly trail. If camping, would definitely stay here.

Such a cool place to ride your horse! I had a lot of fun. Not the typical Bryce canyon ride but it is absolutely beautiful! I would definitely do it again!

Peaceful. Quiet. Gorgeous! The perfect attributes for a 3-night respite between National Parks. Our spot was right off the loop at the Basin Campground, but never felt busy (aside from a few folks who stopped to gawk/photograph the unique spire looming over our site). Steve, the camp host, was lovely and really fun to chat with. We'll definitely return to this gem!

The basin campground is fantastic - bathrooms are centrally located, showers are amazing, the grounds are clean and the views are amazing! We tent camped and there isn't a lot of shade, but it dropped to the 50s overnight and we slept well.

The roads to the park and inside the campgrounds are good, but many of the other roads - especially to Chimney Rock - are a little sketch. Sedans not recommended!

Beautiful area just minutes from Bryce canyon NP. Much nicer campsites here than Bryce. Some are even full hookups. Nice clean bathrooms and showers. The scenery is fabulous.
