Can't speak to the motel itself but the RV park leaves much to be desired. The slot I was assigned was crammed between two long term residents, my door side has to open next to a stranger's pickup and there's not really room to uncouple the trailer and park beside it. My "view" is of a truck bed full of plywood chunks and bbq parts. My wife is sketched out to say the least. The men's shower didn't work, don't know about the women's.
On the upside, the man at the desk was very friendly and accommodating and even the non-functional shower was clean. I didn't bother to complain about it because we have a shower in the RV so it's not like we had to go without. Haven't had any real trouble so far and I don't really expect any but I wouldn't be surprised if I wake up to find that everything that is not bolted down or locked up to have grown legs. It's that kinda vibe. **UPDATE** Nothing grew legs and no one bothered us. So sketchy vibe but maybe not really that sketchy. But no toilet paper in the bathroom. :/
Nice Homey Motel! Room Was Clean And Comfortable! Bed Was A Little Firm But It Was Fine For Me But Maybe Not For Some! Staff Was Very Friendly And Sent Me A Text To Find Out When We Were Arriving Because They Closed At 10 And Wanted To Make Sure We'd Have A Room To Stay In So That Was Awesome! I've Never Had Any Other Motel Do That! Train Was A Little Noisey But I Live By Tracks As Well So Again For Me It Wasn't A Problem! Good Place To Stay For A Cheap Price And Would Most Definitely Stay Here Again!
Old school motel with lots of charm. Not fancy but a good sized room with fridge, micro, coffee maker, flat screen TV, comfortable bed. I like to be able to park a few feet from my door! A train goes by a few times at night but it's a comforting sound to me
Absolutely adorable little place for an overnight stay, and very cozy! We've spent the last week staying at hotels and motels moving cross-country, and this was easily our favorite out of the lot. Clean, has character, nice firm beds, and the owner was very nice and helpful! Only downside is that it's close to train tracks, so if you're a light sleeper I suggest the bed furthest from the door/window and a bit of music going. It's definitely not a deal breaker, because I'm a light sleeper myself and got the best sleep I've had all week!
Stayed for more than a week and really felt comfortable. The place is very peaceful and quiet except when the train goes rumbling past, I actually like the sound of it at night. Really appreciated the sweet little details, good water pressure, plenty of hot water and full size fluffy towels! They are also pet friendly which makes this little spot a favorite for our travels in the area.
Thank you guys very much!
