About Campground

You can't camp many places in Oregon that the general public is not allowed. You can here. Behind a locked gate, no public access. A permanent pit toilet is onsite. Pricing includes one camping unit (tent you supply)

Directions

I wanted to be sure you had my cell for when you are at the High Road ( 541-240-9252) . Some people don't get much cell service so I recommend loading Google Maps while you are in town. ( https://goo.gl/maps/bHUR96xPjFx ). Make sure you bring wood if you want to have a small fire.

****************directions: from La Grande: I84 to Summit Rd/Mt Emily Exit go right---from Pendleton on I84 take Summit Rd/ Mt Emily go left-- then after you cross the cattle guard, drive 3 miles. Just before 3 miles look for a "yellow small A Frame marker" and Private property sign. Turn right down that driveway and (carefully)drive until you see our gate.**********************

Great hideaway with nature all around! But close enough to get to the city. Pond near by with small trout. Very relaxing!

The perfect place to get away and be with mother nature. It's beautiful and serene. We can't wait to stay there again.

Excellent place to unwind and regroup. Hosts are super! Cabin is wonderful. Caught a 14 inch trout at the pond. Will be back.

I had the privilege to stay here during my journey across America for veterans. It is so peaceful and quiet here! I highly recommend this place if you are passing through or looking to get away from it all for a bit. There is a lot of wildlife to see and a great pond just down the road.

Awesome cabin and get away for the weekend. Dogs can run around and tire themselves out while we relax and enjoy the good views. Definitely coming back
