About Campground

We are a small to medium sized family run campground just outside of Stoughton Wisconsin. We are located about 2 miles off the interstate and are less than 20 minutes to downtown Madison. We cater to all types, including seasonal campers, overnighters, and monthly stay specials. Around here is Badger and Packer country, but don't worry we accept all fans. You might even see a few Bears flags flying on Sundays in the fall. We pride ourselves on giving our guests a camping experience to remember at our quaint campground that is clean, safe, and quiet. If you haven't camped at Badgerland in a while, come check us out as things are constantly changing and being upgraded based on what our guests want to see. We have many weekend events and wagon rides for the kids as well as a Bar on-site to keep those parents entertained while watching the game. Our swimming pond is spring fed and runs a constant 69 degrees year round, which makes for a great place to cool off in our Wisconsin summers. We are a mere 2.8 miles from the Lake Kegonsa public boat launch. And if you want to up your catch, try our on-site catch and release fishing pond which is stocked with Large Mouth Bass, Bluegill, and Yellow Perch. Leave us a note or gives us a call if you want more information.

Love this place!!! Not only do I love it but so does my entire family. I have several nieces who ask to go camping at Badgerland when ever possible. They have made so many friends with the seasonal campers and just enjoy all the amenities without feeling crowded. The catch and release fishing pond is so much fun because you are always catching nice fish! The large mouth bass are so exciting! Chris and Allie thank you so much for all you do!!! You have an amazing place!

This campground takes their 5 mph speed limit very seriously, which is fair. However, they don't take as much care into providing drinkable water for all patrons! There was a sign on the water hookup advising that the water isn't safe for everyone, which I discovered after our rig was set up. At no point were we informed of this prior: not when we checked in, not on their website, and not in our confirmation email. In addition, this park makes you pay extra for wifi and showers. The bathrooms were tiny and full of bugs. Very overpriced campground considering you don't even have sewer at your site. I would not stay here again.

What an absolute gem. Quiet, very well maintained campground. Sites are level with crushed gravel, with well maintained grass area. Water and excellent power (we used 30A). Sensible campground rules and awesome customer service. Wish we could have stayed longer

Our two week stay here was wonderful! Chris was absolutely amazing, seriously great host and the campground has so much to offer! There are many things for the kids to do which was awesome it kept them busy! They even have a bar and do bingo nights, definitely coming back! If you haven’t had a chance to stay here, you’re missing out!

We visited this campground on job assignment. The manager, Chris, was extremely nice to my family. He went the extra mile to accommodate us. We were there to work, but it felt more like a vacation. We were warmly invited to participate in their Halloween activities, which they held on the weekends leading up to Halloween. It was a blast! Their haunted hayride was incredible. My toddler got a ton of candy trick or treating and had the most amazing time with everyone. I bet they do holidays events for other seasons that are just as fun, but I can personally recommend October! All of the seasonal campers were friendly and had good things to say about the campground. They have great amenities, and these folks know how to have a good time. If I was a seasonal camper, I'd park it here. As a traveler, I'd venture off my route to stay here again.
