There is no proper Directions.. we had to roam for about an hour find the spot. But the ground as is is good. Here are 2 spots 7 and 11 for larger groups that will cost around $48. All the other spots will cost $28

You have to park the car across the road i-71 and cross a locked gate and go uphill for about 100 meters walk to reach the camp ground. If you carry lot of luggage, have a wagon for moving stuff. Fully surrounded by trees and gives you good share during summer. The highway is not too far, so you get road nice at night.

When they say “walk-in” campground, they mean “park across the street then walk uphill for 0.2 miles to the site you booked”! It’s in the name but it surprised my buddy and I. Why didn’t the DNR just finish building a complete campground? Whatever. It’s a fine place to camp otherwise. There weren’t many bugs when we were there, a nice family down the road sells bundles of firewood, and there was ample space at our site for my buddy and I to fit our two tents. We had a good time after we finished lugging our stuff to the site. Wasn’t too bad.

The campground is great, but the uphill walk for 5-10 minutes to it is kinda hard, there is no car access to actual campsite. Parking lot has plenty of space, but don't forget to get permit. Also if you want to ride bikes on the trail, get tickets for 5$ from local bike rental (like 5 minutes away from the parking lot)

Mostly quiet, low frills camping spot. Manual pump well, so bring a buddy..or strong kid to help you. Toilets looked clean and maintained

No firewood sales at this site so if you need want to toast marshmallows or feel cozy, kinda out of luck u less you can scrape together some wood from the underbrush or similar.
