I was there with a date for the weekend. My date got drunk and met a couple of local drunk guys at the local bar. She came over to the room (obviously drunk), I told her to leave. When she wouldn’t, she assaulted me. I called the owner of this place, as well as the general manager I had met earlier at check in. They said they would come. Meanwhile, this drunk woman and two local men, came to my room at the Olde Mill BNB and proceeded to beat and crack the door. I tried to call 911, but cell svc doesn’t work in your rooms. The rooms were very low and had foam on the ceiling in places so you didn’t injure your head.

Luckily, when they tried to beat the door in, I had my gun for protection, they ran.

Picture this, I’m in my room, rented under my name, the owner of Olde Mill finally shows up and we sat down and talked, I showed her the damage to the outside of the door, then she says “we will charge you for the damage because “it’s easier than going after the two suspects”. She also said they (the lady I was with and the two local thugs) had a different story the mine???

I was in my room, assaulted, bleeding, and their cracked from the hand print on the outside, and she wouldn’t ask the police for a report or press charges, because she wants to (protect her local boys) and it was easier to charge me for the damage. I was in very serious danger and the owner of Olde Mill could care less….then for the next week, I’m working with the local police (who were also a joke and protecting their locals), wouldn’t answer my phone calls or help out to get a police report. She “prayed for me” and said she could’ve pressed charges??? For me renting a room, being assaulted and harassed, and bleeding I guess??

I’d never stay here again.

Had a very nice stay. Room was absolutely spotless. Had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed looking at the history books in the guest lounge and there was also a ghost experience log book. We did not experience anything but enjoyed reading the entries. The breakfast was very delicious with plenty of hot coffee to get the day started. Very friendly helpful staff. We would recommend visiting and would 100% stay again.

We stayed one night during a visit to the National Park. We’d never stayed in a B&B but this place made us want to look for them more often. The self-check in process was easy and well-explained. The Suite was perfect for our family of 3. And the staff were very accommodating-we realized we’d be running late for our Gap Cave tour and needed to change our breakfast plans and they made to-go boxes for us. And the breakfast was SO good and filling (we were still talking about how sweet the pineapple was today!).

What an adventure! A little gem in the middle of a beautiful area and hiking trail..room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious! Added bonus was sitting in the parlor and reading ghost stories of strange happenings from guests who’ve stayed there…thankfully I didn’t read these until we were leaving 🥴

We had a great time.

It was late when we arrived but the Inn was well lit, very cozy & inviting.

The instructions to our room were right where we were told and it was easy to get to our room.

We stayed in the creekside room and although it was 9:30 p.m. and too dark to see the creek, you could definitely hear it running.

The place was so cool, very clean, and breakfast was fabulous.

We own our own travel agency, and are always on the look out for unique places. So glad we found this one! We will definitely stay again when in the area.
