About Campground

We are a quiet, year round campground nestled in the heart of Amish country in southern middle Tennessee. Our small campground borders Tennessee's oldest Amish farm, now the Amish Heritage Farm Museum which provides enchanting views of the farm, horses and spectacular sunsets. If it's peace and quiet you're after, you have found it! From the steady clip clop of Amish horse and buggies passing by, to the faint sound of roosters crowing in the morning, our campground offers something truly special. Leave the hustle and bustle behind, and enjoy the slow paced life of Amish country. For more info visit: [https://www.facebook.com/RestCamp](https://www.facebook.com/RestCamp/)

Had to make a last minute decision on the go & we needed a pit stop. We have a fifth wheel & just needed a place for the night. The host was a sweet gal that came to meet us upon arrival & was very nice. This place is a little spot with nothing to do or anyplace to venture out & walk. The sites were not taken care of. Garbage was thrown all over due to careless campers. The main house is closed & not manned. It is very dungeon like upon entering. Not a place for kids only because NOTHING to do. Unfortunately will not be back

Great place for RV camping or renting cabins. Laundry available. Showers available for short- term stays. Wifi only available at the office. Great AT&T cell service (5G full bars). Trees for shade, some picnic tables, and dog walk areas. Next door to flea markets, Amish Country (shops, wagon rides, museum, etc), and not far from Davy Crockett State Park with hiking trails, restaurants, and lake. Close to Lawrenceburg with many various restaurants, groceries, and shops. And only about an hour south of Nashville.

The lady from the front office definitely looks out for you. Everything has been great so far. My kids love the playground by the front office. It's super cute. The vending machine doesn't work which sucks. But that's really my only complaint.

We stayed here for almost half a year with our two year old and Great Dane while my husband worked at the GM plant in Springhill. The hostess and manager were absolutely amazing and accommodating. We loved being in the country but still had options for shopping and other activities nearby. 10/10 would recommend staying here. Family friendly and safe.
