A beautiful, small campground! The owner & Co. made us feel so welcome. My kids had a wonderful time visiting and feeding chickens and horses all weekend. You can tell the owner loves horses and wants to share that love with others. We are very happy with our stay there. Thank you, Brenda, Kim, & Brett!
I love love this campground and stable. The owner Brenda always makes us feel so welcome. She always makes sure our needs are met! This place is beautiful with nice, comfy lodging on sight. Super clean bathrooms/houses. It is close to many trails in the area. You can leave right from the campground or trailer about 5 minutes away to get to even more beautiful trails! Thanks for always making our stays to great!
My family, friends and I love to come and camp here every chance we get. We have camped here 5 times in the last 2 years and are reserved for fall break and Thanksgiving. The hospitality is great! The owner, Brenda, will see to it that your needs are met. We appreciate the small, family friendly atmosphere, the beautiful, quiet setting, close trails for riding horses, and the relationships we have built with Brenda and a permanent camper, Kim. They treat us like we are part of the family. We always look at other places. We even drive to other campgrounds with every intention of finding a different place to ride our horses, but we seem to end up back here. What can I say? It's just a good fit. If you are looking for a place to bring your family that's free of rowdy guests and drama; that makes you welcome; and that has great shade, a community fire pit, full hook ups, level camping spots, a top notch barn, paddocks as an option, a great location far from the city, and a peaceful atmosphere; this is the place for you! Don't let bad reviews keep you from giving Spruce Creek Campground and Stables a chance! The bunkhouse and cabins are very clean and nice, so even if you don't ride horses or have a camper you could still come here.
Very nice Campground stayed there for a long time while building a home in the area. Made it very convenient.
Stayed here in a comfortable cabin and visited beardy big south fork and picket park and enjoyed sight seeing the beautiful fall colors of the Appalachian forests. The campground provides stabling for your horses, campfire pits, and picnic tables. And it's right on the spruce creek loop trail for a easy to moderate ride around the area which has outstanding views of the Tennessee countryside. Staff is friendly and courteous. Had a great time driving the windy mountain roads which are great for riding motorcycles and visited nearby Muddy Pond where we ate delicious food provided by the local Amish. I highly recommend Spruce Creek and Will be coming back soon.
