The pool was the best at an RV park that we have ever been to! It was great to have the pass to walk on Avon Fishing Pier and then the shade from the fishing pier to be on the beach. It was nice to have a restaurant in the property. Only things that need improvement was the frequency that the bathrooms were cleaned and that the food tiki bar at the pool was never open and food trucks had only lunch time openings. Maybe it was staffing issues, I’m not sure. Overall great place!

Slots are a bit small but I was able to store my car and tow dolly and still fit my 35ft class C into slot 8. No one is there to receive you but they are very responsive on the phone/text. The tiny walk to the beach is awesome. Going to sleep at night hearing the crashing waves is great too. All in all a great time and can't wait to come back again.

Quiet and quaint camping. The campground consists of 25 or 26 spots and they are close together. It’s great for families or friends traveling together. A few spots are private based upon the location of the spot. We had spot 25 and it was perfect for our rig. We have a 45ft fifth wheel. Our spot was not nearly as breezy as some others which is good and bad. Good because you can leave the awnings out, bad because of those Hatteras Mosquitoes so bring fans and bug spray. Not the fancy kind of bug spray. Bring the kind you’d take on those jungle hikes. Not much of a view from the campground itself but that’s ok. It’s a short walk to the beach and Avon Pier for those coffee drinking sunrises. The pool is quiet but could use some upkeep. Don’t bring the scooters or hover board for the kids as the roads are gravel. The bikes work best. We’ve throughly enjoyed our stay and we plan on visiting again.

Awesome campground for a quiet weekend at the beach. Stayed here for Labor Day weekend and even with every site full it was still very quiet. Large open area for the kids (and adults) to play in. Easy access to the beach and fishing pier. Pool was just as pretty as advertised with an elevated balcony overlooking the ocean. The restaurant on site, Pangea Tavern, was also excellent. Duck Donuts just a mile down the road doesn’t hurt either! Highly recommended and we will be back. We stayed at site 2 with a 37’ pull behind and had plenty of room for the trailer and tow vehicle.

Nice park area to relax while waiting for checkin. Park area for the kids. Pier to venture on. The beach access is a short walk. Also has the best food trucks here.
