Great location and staff was quick to answer and help with any needs. They have additional parking behind the main house that was nice. It is just a block away from the beach and a few over is the big jetty. Was able to accommodate our group of 9 with just a few days notice before memorial day. If it rains before or during your trip do bring big spray because the mosquitoes are quite bad all around the island after a heavy rain.

I do not even have words to describe how wrong this place is. Maintenance is an unknown here. Washers and dryers do not work. Bathrooms are disgusting. Total lack of respect and customer service. Rates change on a whim. Total rip off. Management is a joke. Not a place for kids. Fightinging and partying all night.

Poorly kept and the rv next to me had pests that moved to mine which caused me to move. I had to have an extermination team come service my rv to mediate the problems. I never received my deposit back from the park after moving out. There is no receipt given for electricity usage just word of mouth. Washers and dryers always out of service, the wifi provided never works. Overall I will not be back to stay. More problems than it was worth.

Despite my 3/5 star rating, this is actually a nice park but it could use some improvements. It is in a great location, and the staff seem to be friendly and responsive. I visited twice, with a third trip upcoming, so obviously I like it. People complain about the long term folks, they all seemed nice to me.

So where do they go wrong? Mostly in the site maintenance and aesthetic. Apparently their water isn't potable or even drinkable, and they don't make that obvious or tell you that when you check in but it is mentioned on their website if you know where to look. Both sites I stayed at had different issues with the electric, thankfully I have adapters and surge protection. The sites themselves are in okay shape, but the areas adjoining them including the driving surfaces are in pretty bad shape with potholes, puddles, and muddy areas that could easily be corrected across the park with a couple tons of fine gravel. During my stay, they also randomly decided to turn off the water for maintenance without any warning, updates, or communication.

When you visit this fine park, just set your expectations correctly and you'll have a great time. It really is a nice place, just needs some upkeep. For Surfside in general it is pretty good. If you want a "nicer" place, you have to go all the way to Bluewater down the highway, which is 15 minutes farther from Lake Jackson and civilization in general.

Beautiful home ! Love love that it has the 3 level outside areas ! Think our family loved second level for hanging out! Very clean and nicely stocked ! Definitely would stay again. It's a little walk to the beach 🏖️. Also great advantage it has an elevator for getting gear and coolers and such up !
