From jct Hwy-602 & Hwy-103: Go 3-1/2 mi E on Hwy-103.
As my wife was holding our two dogs ON A LEASH at our family reunion today, the owner drove up on a golf cart and rudely told us that all dogs had to be on a leash. We pointed our that our dogs were on a leash. He started in on us about other people’s dogs in the area that were ALSO ON A LEASH. The only dog off a leash was a 12 week old puppy a group of kids were playing with supervised by owner. This guy was straight up rude and abrasive. Nice way to start off your day when we WERE being responsible for our pets the entire time.
It was a clean place. Very nice and clean bathrooms. Very nice reception from the office personnel. Very friendly atmosphere all together. Lake is beautiful!
On the right is Christian. He is very terrified of many new things. When we went swimming, it felt like it opened a whole new world to him. It's just like the old days. He loved it, they both did, has I did when I was a child. I guess you could say, they deliver a comfort zone.
We have had a permanent spot there for the last 4 years. I don't think we will ever move from there! Some of the best people I've ever met camp there!
