our second time to stay here. lovely lady that got us checked in. gave us a pull thru site for easy overnight stay. no bathhouse tho still....
Hands down the worst camping experience. Very rude customer service. We paid for parking twice. When I asked about getting receipts from the office when I arrived she was very rude and told me no. Very very unprofessional. I travel all summer and try new campgrounds and this was not worth the drive. Loud music all night but when we played music we got threatened to get kicked out. This place has so much potential but the customer service really needs to be worked on. Very disappointed
I stayed here while thru hiking the Buckeye Trail. Hikers and Bikers are only charged $5 to camp there, and the sites have electricity. While I was there, there were adorable goats eating the grass around my site which was fun. The campground is full of families, which I thought was cute because there were a lot of little kids and a few of them were very curious about my gear and what I was doing. This place was great to stay at on my thru hike.
It's an old campground that is getting updates periodically. Away from any towns. Very quiet and peaceful. Would share it with friends. There is no septic hook up but will honey wagon. Or you can go to dump station.
