The family and I were looking for a new place to swim and fish this past weekend. When we arrived we found ourselves knocking on the office door repeatedly and calling trying to get someone to speak with. This place opened at 10am and it was 1015 when we arrived. We ended up giving up and begun loading up the car to leave when the manager came to the door, apparently she was to busy to Great her guest accordingly. We paid for the day and before parking in the visitor area we decided to do a quick lap around the grounds to see if the place was somewhere we would consider camping. We no more made it back to the visitor parking area before we were stopped by the manager on her golf cart and ask” were we where going” in the rudest voice possible. I explained to her we just wanted to see the campground but she wasn’t interested. The fishing lake from the visitor parking isn’t close at all , yet there map shows a visitor parking next to it maybe they should update the maps!! Anyways I won’t be visiting this place anymore and I hope some of you heed my warning by our experience. Wayne and surrounding counties have far better campgrounds to visit. One star for the rude manager!!!

We absolutely love this place! Quiet and seems all campers are respectful of each other. The staff and owners have never been anything less than accommodating when we go for the weekend. Very sweet people. It's close to home and rates are very fair. Rules don't seem any different than most places, in fact a little more laid back then some. It's just a nice, small park to go camping for a weekend and enjoy the family time 😊

My son, who is developmentally delayed, and I love this campground. He and I both love to camp. The owners and staff went above and beyond ensuring our camping experience was safe and pleasurable. The grounds are well maintained, rules are easy to follow, adequate space is provided for family activities, bottom line, follow the rules, have fun. We will continue to recommend this facility to our friends. Hope you enjoy it as much as my son and I.

I reserved several sites at Meadow Lake Park and a group of 36 people attended. The Management of this park was wonderful. They were so nice and made sure all of our needs were met. The park was beautiful and very clean. This is the 5th year I have organized this outing and every year the people had some complaints about the location I choose. Everyone raved about what a good job I had done by finding this little piece of heaven. We will be using this campground for our annual campout every year for now on. I highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this campground and it exceeded every one. The pictures on the website don't do this place justice. Beautiful campground, big old maple trees, the grounds are well kept. Very quiet and great for families. Bill and Ron are really nice guys, very accommodating and generous. I will definitely be back again. Thank you!!!
