The experience dealing with Linda was fabulous. Our situation was unique in that we were looking for a seasonal site. Linda was very communicative and willing to help. Although, due to an emergency, we were not able to book for the season and had to cancel our plans. Linda was extremely understanding. We are sad that we did not get to experience the camp ground. After touring it, we were excited. However, we hope to be able to camp there for a week this summer.
Linda is the best host. My husband travels for work and sometimes ends up not staying in the same place for a long period of time. With things being seasonal, his boss put a deposit down for 2 campsites (ours and his) and was able to store his camper at the site before the season started. Unfortunately their work project changed and we weren’t going to be in this area anymore and Linda still allowed us to have a camper parked there before the season opened and offered a refund for the deposit. We are very thankful for this, and would definitely recommend this park! If we are ever back in northern Ohio we will stay here for sure!
The four things that come immediately to mind:
1. Community; felt like a neighborhood
2. Quietness; no trucks passing site
3. Friendly and very helpful; owner and staff (thank you)
4. Love the trees; shade on hot days
Location; easy to access with camper
Nice quiet campground that they are actively improving. Some of the sites are a little small and the map on the website could use an update. H4 and H2 are not actually laid out sideways and H4 is particularly tricky to get into with hookups on the opposite side as normal(would not recommend if your rig is over 26ft). Boots provided me with an adapter as the site was only 50a. Very nice of her! No campstore as of yet. Bathrooms are very clean and nice with pay to use showers.
We were staying at this RV park because I brought my sister to Cleveland Clinic for surgery. The owners are so gracious. They allowed us to come in early on check-in day and stay a little late on check-out day to accommodate my sister's discharge. Wonderful people.
