Mark and Ester went way above and beyond in making our experience excellent. The site was clean, quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We had a tent site a little ways down the path, so we had to wheelbarrow our things in but it was absolutely worth it for our gorgeous and very private feeling site. The amenities are fantastic as well! The bathrooms were extremely clean and shower water was nice and hot with great water pressure. There’s a coin operated laundry machine as well. Mark also pointed us in the direction of the best hike of our trip, DuPont state forest. All in all, a completely fantastic, beautiful spot run by the nicest folks. Cannot recommend Ash Grove more highly!

My daughter and I spent a weekend here and loved it. Mark and Esther definitely have the gift of hospitality. The property and the sites are well taken care of and very inviting.

A number of great day hikes are within easy driving distance. I will definitely be camping at Ash Grove again for outdoor excursions in that area.

This is a beautiful spot, close to DuPont trails. The bath house is clean and spacious. The walk in tent sites are large and private. But… if you’re towing a camper, be aware that getting in and out of here is no joke. The roads are narrow and winding, and you’ll go up and down a 30% grade to access the RV sites. Yes, I measured it. Also, there’s no turn around, you have to exit the campground and head down the mountain to turnaround in a parking lot about 1/2 mile away. If you’re comfortable with that, the RV sites are spacious and fairly private, and the entire campground is very peaceful.

Mystical themed campground. 🧚 Cabins, campsites and RV sites are available. We stayed at a regular campsite. You park your car and then walk your stuff into the campsite. They have wheelbarrows to use. Bathhouse and laundry are available. Dishwashing station. Firewood for sale. Good potable water available. Pretty quiet, except when a dog chooses to speak its mind. Yes, doggos are allowed. I had a great time. It’s a campground with good amenities that also feels a little more like backcountry camping. They also have a little waterfall on property.

My wife, two German Shepherds and I decided to take a last minute trip to the area to check out some of the waterfalls. We bought our tent, just in case we wanted more time to explore. We were happy that we did. On a whim we stumbled across Ash grove. The gentleman that checked us in was full of knowledge about the area. It made our trip so much better. Everything about our experience here was perfect. The bath house was clean and the shower was very good. We will definitely be back sometime in the near future.
