These volunteers and professional workers , works together amongst one another , to offer valuable services to the community at large , in varies areas of assistance.
The workers are nice but the program that I went for don't really help people that need real help. I went to a orientation for housing program that was closed to go all the way up there spend money to get up there for them to tell me that the housing program is closed but they still doing orientation for it, they can't help you with nothing they have no money in the program but they still will see you.
They didn't help me with anything. Maybe I just got a bad worker but I was supposed to go for the highschool diploma program and I kept asking and asking and asking when we would start and 2 months later my worker just ghosts me. Never got help with anything. I've called and texted and I get no response. I really could have used the help, I wish i got a better worker.
Wonderful organization to have in Winston-Salem. They help people that need resources, assistance of many kinds, and/or many forms of guidance in being the best version of ones self. Not limited to one realm of life; could be budgeting, job entry or even advancement, housing, taxes, whatever it might be. Can not say enough about ESiR. They helped me and my family get and stay out of homeless.
Great finds; very fair prices; nicest, friendliest staff. Always find something’s - even plants/flowers/odds & ends. Kids can get plush toy for free.
