My wife and I tent camp for 5 days at smokey mountain campgrounds and found it to be perfect for us. When we arrived Zach was was really nice and upgraded us to a creekside camp spot, in which was very soothing at night.... we slept like a baby. The campground is very clean and good amenities with hot showers. The staff was very nice and friendly and we are looking forward to coming back soon and would recommend this campground to any campers who are looking to camp around Bryson city.

One of the best trips I've ever been on! This campground is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. Being right on the creek was a unique experience that I can't wait to do again! The campground staff is nice and very helpful for anything you may need

Wow. Such a wonderful campground . Visited from South Florida. The people are very helpful and nice . Met some other fellow Floridians there that camp there every year. They are very kid friendly . I like a place that accepts children . They have such beautiful views and just a stones throw from some waterfalls.

We had a great relaxing time at Smoky Mountain Campground! We were in a double site (10) backed up to Deep Creek. It was awesome! This is a small campground right outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The customer service was excellent! The staff was very helpful and courteous! The general store has most everything you’ll need and if they don’t have it Bryson City is about 15 minutes away. Cherokee is about 25 minutes and a great day trip.

We will be back!

We stayed here January 8, 2024 for 4 nights. Zak is a great host, accommodating, helpful and ready for a chat anytime.

Many new upgrades to the sites and washrooms with more planned and in progress.

Great store on site.

During busy times it may be difficult to manouver an RV over 30 feet.

Less busy, half full, it may be possible.

Call ahead to check.

The campground is located in a great spot next to Deep Creek and just outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
