Nice and clean. Fire pits and tables at every campsite. Clean restrooms. Quiet. I was the only one there for the weekend.

This free campground is 18 miles from Globe (12 miles gravel). The gravel portion is very twisty and often very narrow. Globe is at 3,500 feet and the Pinal Campground at 7,500 feet. Probably a dozen tent sites with concrete picnic tables and fire pits. It's on a ridge with great southern and western views and shade provided by Ponderosa Pines and oaks. But, pack in and pack out and no electricity or water. Good place to see deer and humming birds. Nice trails and quiet environment.

Great camping at 8000ft. Make sure to check the weather before you go because it can differ massively from the temperatures in Miami Arizona. The dirt road is 9 miles long and he’s fine for any car it’s just bumpy. Great view and hiking trails from up here
