Beautiful area, so green! Workman Creek runs by the camp.
This campground, like the others along the creek, has a few tent camping sites. It edges the creek, which has large shade bearing trees. This is a nice location, but you would be close to any other campers.
Camped here one night and had the place to ourselves - which was good because it's not really set up well for overnight use. We found one spot suitable for a tent pad, one fire pit, and one picnic table. The proximity to the road was not so great, but the flowing creek was sublime. The canopy by the creek is dense and lush, however the hillsides throughout this canyon still show their scars from forest fires.
Great camping spot! The camp ground is next to the creek! You can get back there in a car(just a long ride on a dirt road). The camp ground did have some drive by off road traffic, but only one other person that we shared the spot with. The water fall is up the road about 5 to 10 minutes from the camp ground. You will need 4-wheel drive and high clearance to drive up next to the main water fall. The road right before the fall had a good incline, a lot of loose gravel, and big divets about a quarter mile(maybe less) from the fall. There is an area wide enough to park right before the road is rough, so we parked and took a short walk up the hill to check out the falls.
