Great motel! Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked well.
Nicest motel I've stayed in so far! Room was huge and very clean and modern. Had everything I could possibly need, including luxuries (e.g. a bath tub, complementary tea and coffee, microwave etc).
I'm a PCT hiker, and despite showing up looking like I'd spent the last week living at the bottom of a trash can, I was immediately treated like a VIP, and helped with everything I could possibly need, including laundry, printing, and a complementary lift back to the trailhead.
Staff were always incredibly friendly and helpful, and rooms felt very secure - two areas in which I've had issues with other motels recently.
Sure, it was on the pricier side compared to other motels I've stayed in so far, but I soon realised it was worth every penny. I didn't want to leave!
The attention to detail and cleanliness was awesome. You feel welcomed thanks to a tray of positive quotes, chocolates wrapped up with tags that say thank you, roses decorating the coffee area, etc.
Awesome place to stay! They actually clean the rooms daily unlike the chain hotels. I spend 200+ days a year in hotels, the stay here was a breath of fresh air.
We had a great 2 night stay at The Antlers in early August. It is within easy driving distance of Lassen NP, and Susanville. We had a quiet 2nd floor room. The amenities were so much better then found in newer establishments. Actual suitcase stand (only 1), drawers, a refrigerator that actually got cold enough to freeze our ice pack, double sink outside the toilet and shower room. The air conditioning worked well. Hair dryer. Sweet thank yous from the owners. It was very nice. The only negative was, and we’ve found this at nearly every place we’ve stayed, a lack of towel racks. We had to hang our towels on close hangers… but at least there were enough of those. Some places don’t even have that option. We loved the place and will stay there the next time we visit. Also a great market is right across the highway which was super convenient!
