The RV Park. We just did it overnight. Stay on our way to Florida. It was very, very nice. Lots of room for the dog to run. Very clean and well. Manicured.
Overnight stop was perfect, very quiet! Easy access, easy to level on concrete pads, FHU 50a site. Lots to do in the area so a great place to stop for a few days also.
After reading some reviews I was skeptical coming to this park but we were pleasantly surprised. This is by no means a destination, but it is great for an over night or if you staying locally for work. The lady at the desk was blunt but helpful and gave us a good Sam discount. The park was clean and moderately flat. We had no issues with safety. You’re only 2 miles from down town.
Good Sam RV campground, good price, convenient location to everything, lots of good restaurants (Rusty's was great) and the casino was just across and down the road. Stayed 2 nights and would definitely stay again. No frills but that was fine with us. Thank you Kim for your southern hospitality!
We spent one night and the place is clean and appealing with lots of manicured grass. The place is first come-first serve. There is a map on the office door which indicates which spots are 50 Amp. All spots are pull through. If you arrive after hours, call the hotel desk and check in. Check out is at 11 am. The gal working the desk was so sweet! The spot was just long enough for our motorhome. There were no problems with the utilities. Our site was level. The casino does not provide a shuttle so we didn't visit. We arrived at dark and didn't want to risk crossing the 4 lane highway on foot. It would have been a bit of a walk. Otherwise, it is a great stop between Texas and Georgia.
