The campground offers 22 concrete pads with water/electrical/sewer hookups. Pavilion available for rent.
Very small lake and all the good campsites are taken up by permanent campers.
Very beautiful place, very clean! We scoped it out the weekend before we went. Iv lived in Neshoba my whole life just never been. We spoke with an older man care taker and he was very helpful and polite told us we could tent camp. Explaining how much it is per night, how to pay, and that there was absolutely no reserving spots first come first serve type of situation. Well we showed up on a Friday afternoon paid for the whole weekend. Everything was fine until about 2pm Saturday. The women care taker stopped at our sit started probing us on how much we paid and how long we was staying and when we thought we be packing up. Told her we paid for the weekend and planned on leaving Sunday little after lunch, and she was ok with it. We thought it was a little odd her asking so many questions. Well then Sunday morning she stopped again and asked if we was enjoying it and we said yes and what a beautiful place they had. Well she stopped a third time around 11:30 said if we didn’t pack up and leave that we have to pay for another day. We asked when check out time was bc that was never made clear. She said well check out is at 11 but that she doesn’t enforce it much but if we didn’t leave soon we have to pay more money bc there was other people waiting to get the spot we had. She said the check out time is posted with the rules, but we read all the signs at the office and there was no posted check out time. There was like 6 other empty camp sits but bc some people wanted ours we was rudely rushed to leave! I thought you couldn’t reserve spots. Not sure if we will come back bc she was so over bearing and pushy in the end. If they read this then sorry but check out time needs to be made very clear since it’s was such a big deal! Other than her and being rushed off it’s a beautiful place, dog friendly, bathrooms stay clean.
Nice quiet place! Has swings and benches to sit and think or just to sit and stare at the beauty that's in front of you! Very well kept. Clean picnic area. Very clean restrooms. I've seen people on boats fishing. Seems very peaceful place.
