Calm and serene. Exactly what I wanted this morning. Mississippi is a beautiful state.

The park is beautiful. We stayed in a cabin. It was ok and needs work. There is minimal items so bring everything. There are towels and washcloths and sheets. But they could use some bleach in the wash. No hand soap or dish soap. The pots and pans are well used... bring your own.

We have always enjoyed staying here until this Christmas. Booked for 2 nights, left after one after having law enforcement come out due to us calling after finding open windows and meth contraband around adjoining cabin. Very sad, end of an era for us because we won’t be back. 10 years of Christmas here. Not to mention toilets broke, oven didn’t work to cook dinner, just sad now.

We’ve been coming to these cabins for several years until this Christmas and we won’t be back for anything else. To start, the cabins were disgusting with dirty floors and dead bugs everywhere. Yellow jackets crawling the walls, windows wouldn’t lock, bedrooms and bathrooms wouldn’t lock, broken windows taped up and constant flickering lights. We booked for two nights but left after one because we found open windows in the cabin next to us that was NOT booked, and meth contraband literally 6 feet from where we were making s'mores! Law enforcement came out and is currently investigating. I wish I had taken more pictures but I was going to let it slide before the law had to be involved. Do not waste your time or money.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Oct 2023 full hook-ups $37.50 a night. Better rates for longer term rentals.. but this place fills up fast in the height of the season. Reservations recommended..

They take Reservations two years ahead!

We took a chance in late October and got lucky!

THERE ARE CABINS TOO.

Lovely setting...plenty of trees..hard pads to park. Picnic tables. Fire pits and grills. The lake is INCREDIBLE..white deer wander around at dusk

WE WILL BE BACK
