I have been several times. Almost every time that I've gone, it has been peaceful and quiet. Not a soul in site. Yes, the road is a bit rough, but also a lot of fun. I read some reviews about great desert camping. It is great for this reason, there are shade and cool places to camp. Acrossed the street, there is water. A natural spring. So go have a great time. It's definitely a place to enjoy off- roading or just playing in the sand.
This is one of my favorite November camping spots. Its camping in the desert, but there's a clump of trees. There are zero amenities. Just some trees and a rough road to get there.
We had a great time at this campground. It is hard to find the camping areas in the dark so get there early. You can have fire and several fire rings are already set up. For activities you can bring dirt bikes and four wheelers and hike around. We also visited horseshoe springs.
Nice place for a day trip. The place is small but a lot of fun. You can have fun with your 4x4 or your UTV. Make it a combo and check out the horseshoe springs right across the road.
Wilderness camping with very few people in the area. The nearest camper was 1/4 mile away. Unfortunately they had a generator running most of the night.
Mostly a dark night sky with a little light seeping over the mountains from Tooele and Grantsville.
No amenities. Bring a shovel if you intend to poop!
