Just stayed one night but this was a pleasant surprise. Level spacious concrete sites and paved roads throughout. This was a great park.
This place is a hidden gem! We just love it. I almost gave them a bad review just so people didn't find out how wonderful it is.
Fantastic stay at 2 Rivers. Perfectly level concrete pads, well maintained hookups, beautiful river overlook, and very straightforward navigation from the interstate. Cindy, one of the owners, was a gem and gave us a generous late checkout. So grateful!
We will definitely be back!
Nice campground, but it bothered us that locals would just drive into the campground and slowly cruise through and then leave. Not sure if they were casing the place or what. We normally leave grills, coolers, chairs, etc., outside, but we locked everything up after watching dozens of cars cruise through. Need some security or access restriction.
I enjoy using the paved "River Walk" trail that runs along the campground. In only a short distance you walk along 2 rivers, under one bridge, over a small bridge, and can walk out on a pier overlooking the Kentucky river. Campground has a small playground with exercise equipment, large shelter, and nice shower house. Facilities are still fairly new and grounds are well maintained Large paved lot with ample spaces. Adjoining park with plenty of green space and lots of amenities. Campground, river walk, and adjoining park are all well lit at night. Location is convenient to downtown shops snd restaurants and gas station/convenience stores.
