We love this campground. It is cozy and quiet. They are still remodeling but does not affect the campground in any way. Our lot was level and made it so easy after a long trip. Great cell signal and when stayed in lot 11 had great Wi-Fi. Close to grocery store and gas station. The view in the back is lovely check out the pictures. We will definitely be coming back when in the area

Loved this campground!! It's conveniently located by the Ivy branch of H&M trails and close to South Charleston. So if you need to go to town for anything it's only 20 minutes up the road. Must mention, this campground has city water!! The stone sites are pretty level and the river view is so beautiful. The owners and Junior (who runs it day to day) are some of the nicest people I have come across. Junior stopped by several times just to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We had a downpour that took out our awnings as well as a few other campers. The owner and several other campers all came to the rescue. The owner even went to get his work truck for tools! The last day of our stay the owners heard a crash on the mountain across the street and hopped on their side by side to try and find the people to help. They found them and helped get their UTVs back up the mountain and helped them down to the waiting ambulance. How much better can people be!?! We will definitely be back for another stay!!

I’ve stayed in lots of campgrounds in all the years we’ve been camping and this was hands down the best. A good deal for a full hook up site, close to the trails and right off the 4 lane highway with no back road driving. The owner is also one of the nicest people you’ll meet. Highly recommend

Great for ATV rides and kayaks. We aren't into either. Many people there, especially on the weekends come in for ATV tours and rides. There is a nice overflow parking area for extra vehicles and trailers. The spaces close to the river are skinny. Very skinny, unless you have a small camper, you are cramped. The area in the middle have larger spaces, but really no view. we opted for river. They were not busy during the week, and was allowed to park in the space beside ours for convenience of unloading groceries and such. They have a picnic table and fire ring at each site.

They do have some seasonal, full timers, and workers who stay there. Which is perfectly fine.

The whole area is newish, and all gravel. It is very easy to navigate around. There is an office and mens/womens restroom on site. There is also a good area for people with dogs to walk behind the overflow parking. Besides that, there is nothing else. The campground is in-between a major road and the river, with railroad beyond that. The road noise does get a little loud, but was fine. The train was not bad.

I do want to shout out to J.R., who keeps the grounds very neat and upkept. He is such a nice guy, and can see his children playing around. He works so hard - always doing something.
