This place is good! The savory kolaches are a must-try. They’re a bit spicy but the bread tastes exactly like a pretzel while still being super soft. The donuts are super light and airy. The chips and salsa are good but not worth 8 dollars- it should come free. The breakfast tacos are fine- nothing special about them but still yummy. The lemonade was a bit too sour for me. The atmosphere is lovely! I love all the lights and the general vibe of the place. Our waiter & everyone else we interacted with was super nice & incredibly helpful. A bit expensive but still worth a try.
I will note, however, I went with my fiancé & family (who are from Texas) and they confirmed it’s similar but not authentic to true Tex-Mex.
Was in NOWAY comparable to Texas Mexican Food BUT It did have the feel of Texmex place while dining there. The margs were good chips and salsa good but $8? Free in Texas. The Beans def tasted like canned refried with a mix of bean dip. Carne Guasda taco was really good! The vibe was chill and refreshing. I def would go back when in NYC again. We did enjoy the laid back feel.
We had the Beauty Bar Xmas dinner here the other night! Everything was amazing! The staff, the food and the atmosphere is great! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮 the chef sent us an amazing salad, the blue corn cake for dessert was so good!!! 🌽🌽
A great spot, with really good food. We’d definitely come back to try the dinner - one note is that it is quite expensive. A breakfast sandwich with a cocktail comes to $30 plus tax and tip, and overall the value isn’t quite there. That sad, as a treat we’d definitely come here again
Great spot for a walk in lunch on a Friday, nicely decorated for the holidays. Service was great, as was our food. The beer queso was flavorful and a great addition to have with our tacos (especially drizzling some of the queso onto my barbacoa taco). Tacos are a nice portion for the price.
