Moose Flat Campground is located along the Greys River, 22 miles from the north end of the Greys River Road. Ten campsites accommodate trailers up to 30 feet long; visitors are limited to a 16 day stay. Pearson Creek Trailhead, which begins with a river ford, is adjacent to campground. Potable water via a hand pump and vault toilets are both available.
In Alpine, WY, at intersection of US Rt. 89 South and Greys River Rd., take Greys River Rd. east 22.9 miles to campground on right. NOTE: Greys River Rd. becomes Forest Rt. 10138 and gravel after 0.8 miles.
Beautiful! A very nice, small, first come first serve campground up the Greys River. There is a cooking grill stand at each site, a fire pit with a grill, a hand pump water system, and clean pit toilets.
Great campground for tent or small camper use. Located next to the river. Restrooms, bear proof garbages, and a water pump available. Cost was $10 a day when my family stayed there. About 20 miles in from the main Alpine road.
