About Campground
Big Atlantic Gulch Campground is in the South Pass area. It features 10 campsites, fire rings, garbage collection, water (weather permitting), picnic tables, vault toilets and can accommodate medium sized recreational vehicles. The site is ADA Accessible. There are seasonal closures and occasionally there is a host on site. Be aware, this is bear country! This is a fee site and typical use season is June 1 - October 31.
Directions
The campground is located 1 mile from Highway 28 on the west side of Atlantic City Road.
Fees
$6.00 per night, Golden Age / Golden Access Passes accepted. No reservations first come first serve.

It was amazing!! Quiet, shaded, large lots, clean bathrooms, even had an awesome neighbor!!
BLM campground. Cheap. Vault toilets, water. Not much else but a great place to go exploring from. Atlantic City, CA is just a little ways away. Ghost towns great Wind River mountains nearby.
