I loved the vibes there. Coming from Texas I did not expect to get such cool vibes here! But I loved the beach, kids park, the swings, and the overall environment. Definitely going back again!

Stayed here for 3 days. 9/22-9/24. Nice sites. Easy access. Everything was neat and orderly. The only problem had nothing to do with the campground directly. Inconsiderate people walking through the sites that people were using. Us. I know it is an unwritten rule, but come on folks. Have some common sense. Other than that everything was great.

Nice park and beach! The beach was combed nicely and despite it being late in the season, the water wasn't too ridden with plants. The swimming area was a good size and a nice slope out to deeper water makes it great for everyone. The beach was pretty clean and lots of small snail shells to find :)

Wonderfully long sandy beach with a very gently slope in the water. Even young children can venture out a ways before the water gets deep. Lots of children's playground equipment set up in 2 parts for young children and those a bit older. Gaga ball pit, foosball table. Nice store for snacks, drinks burgers, a few supplies. A full size teepee is set up. Boating docks with canoe /kayak rentals. Campsites. Numerous bathrooms. Picnic benches & grills. Shaded areas. Pavilions including an inside one to rent for groups, weddings... Good access for those in wheelchairs. Sturdy docks. Beaches and grounds are well maintained.

We stayed here a couple of weeks before heading south for the winter. They have electric and water hookups only. They only have one dump station, so it can get backed up with people leaving at the same time. The sites and hookups can be a little confusing and far from the site. Make sure you have extra cords and water hoses. The shower house and showers can be a little sketchy. Some sites are somewhat level, while some can be really bad. Most of the sites do have firepits and picnic tables. You are within walking distance to a couple of bars that serve food. It does have a nice beach for swimming.
