Small hidden lake in the middle of nowhere. Must go off the paved road to reach this lake. Awesome place to kayak, no real boat launch I believe. Only 12 acres and 15 feet deep max.

Used to be my go-to default campsite when heading into the Nicolet for a few days. Not anymore. Pay per night? What kinda of joke is that. They added picnic tables and then considered it a "fee area". Have not camped there since. Remind me again why we pay taxes? This is a NATIONAL forest site.
