Follow HWY 47 north 22.3 miles through Lac Du Flambeau. Sandy Beach is on the right.
Very bad place to bring a family , they complain about children being loud and having fun while in the water . Not recommended for anyone with kids PERIOD .
A great spot slightly off the beaten path. Lots of trails and forest to enjoy. The lakeside camping spots are scenic and peaceful. A short hike or drive to many beautiful parks, or stay at your site and enjoy the mushroom hunting and bird watching.
I come here every year to camp with friends and family. Really cozy and nice swimming lake. Not a lot of sites so quiet most of the time.
