We went during the week. Not many campers around, so very peaceful and had great views of the stars.
When you go for the weekend it's $10 per car per night. It's a very nice place to visit but I would recommend bringing your own wood. When we went this weekend they were out of wood they were out of envelopes for you to put your money in the box. I do know currently there are new volunteers so it's time taking time for things to get back to normal. There was a lot of back and forth traffic this weekend but other than that I wouldn't complain at all.
Just got back camping here and I had a blast. Lots of activities to do like camping, tubing and fishing. A very beautiful park with much to offer! I highly recommend if you are camping to check this place out.
Pretty scenery, for the most part its quiet and relaxing there is fishing and camping and campfires and Hiking walking areas that aren't too difficult
Very nice primate camping area. Very calm and quiet during the week. Port a potty through out camping areas. Fishing, boat dock area, park with shelter, and a primitive rope swing to splash in the river.
