Had a great time there. The owner brings firewood and ice for your coolers every day. Campsites (tent camping) are very nice with a picnic table and a fire ring. Spacious as well.

Dennis was a really sweet guy and easily accomodated our large group (8 adults, 1 large dog) and gave us the best campsite we could've asked for. this is a 18+ adult only campsite. the view was gorgeous and scenic all the way up and on site. bathrooms are clean and nearby and the firewood is very close as well. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is willing to experience a once (or many) lifetime opportunities. I am absolutely coming back, same time next year with more people.

This review is long over due from last summer however it needs to be said;

Once upon a time I accidentally booked Cedar Hills being a "clothing optional"/nude campground for my boyfriend's birthday celebration and did not realize it until we arrived. To our pleasant surprise, this was the best camping trip our group has ever had. Dennis was beyond hospitable and offered us free firewood and ice given my boyfriend was a military veteran; he even came around at night to blow off fireworks for us to help us celebrate his birthday! No campground that we have ever stayed at treated us quite like Dennis did; in fact we had such a terrible time at a different campground it inspired me to write this long over due review today from our trip at Cedar Hills. We decided to keep our clothes on and the other campers who partook in the nudity kept to themselves, it truly didn't bother us one bit. As a group of people in our late 20s this was the perfect campground for us; Cedar Hills will always be our #1 pick! We can't wait to return this September! :)

Quiet and beautiful place to camp. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Not super crowded and some sites are large. Sites with electric are a little less private and or small as they are nestled in with the seasonal/permanent campers. I had an issue with my electric hookups but it was isolated to that site and easily remedied. Water available at all (?) electric sites.

Downsides, i) it's a bit in the middle of nowhere unless you have a car (towd) and there's not much to do onsite (only one trail I could find); ii) there is no onsite dump station.

Nudity is allowed if that's your jam and everyone is fine with it.

This is cute!🤩 It's literally right on a mountaintop! The owner is a wonderful host and really likes meeting people and sharing his property.😃 As I've said before with the previous ones🌈 they all have their individual charm and character🎭

Some of the sites have a magnificent view. Especially the huge park model cabins.

These are the largest cabins I've seen in any campground of this type 😱

Also this campground has the nicest and best maintained tent ⛺ sites I've ever seen!👀.

They all have picnic tables in excellent condition. They all have firewood already stacked up and covered from the weather, and fire 🔥 rings. They are all situated at the top of the hill and some have excellent views. There's even one with a swing overlooking the valley! 😱👀 And portable toilets so you don't have to walk down the hill to the bathroom in the middle of the night 😉 The bathrooms are very clean, There are two of them with two coin operated 🪙 showers🚿 in each one.

There aren't any amenities here yet, but a few of the permanent seasonal residents do have hot tubs🥵. There isn't a private area building in the woods 🤫, or swimming pool or toy store or office. The sites do have electric and water but there is no sewer or dump 💩station here. They do have a pump out service ⤴️ and a food truck and party pavilion for special events.🎉

A fun weekend🥳 with nice people and a beautiful place to stay at the top of a mountain!⛰️
