About Campground

We are a 107-acre forest and farm animal rescue. Sleep with the sheep, alpacas, donkeys, potbellied pigs, and rabbits when you pitch your tent or park your camper on our Vermont Farm!

Tent sites include solid heavy 10x8 tent decks, park grills, picnic tables and your own private fire ring while central rescue sites(where the farm animals are) share a community fire ring.

Don't have a camper or a tent? You can upgrade to a fully equipped glamping experience!

When you stay with us, the money you pay goes directly for the care and feeding of the rescue animals.

Thanks for supporting us in making a difference in the lives of neglected, abused, and abandoned farm animals!

This was an amazing trip! The animals were all incredibly well taken care of as Scott was a great host. The big sky tent deck was absolutely stunning and the farm tour the next morning was such a great experience. Thank you so much for the weekend, I will definitely be returning!

Had such an amazing experience at Scott’s rescue. The big sky tent deck wasn’t too long of a hike in, and the setup was very well done. Stunning views of the Vermont countryside. The farm tour Scott provided was such a great time as we got to help Scott out with a few of his daily chores. Highly recommend coming to stay and learn at Scott’s rescue. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing weekend at Scott's farm! The animals were hilarious and super friendly. The greenhouse felt luxurious - especially in the rain! We loved hiking around the property, cooking farm fresh eggs in the morning, and disconnecting from the outside world. Scott is welcoming and very responsive. Definitely listen to his warning about downloading Google Maps before you leave to re-route around 4-wheeler roads. We can't wait to go stay again!

My dad and I spent a weekend here in an RV a few weeks ago. We were parked way closer to the main house than I had expected we would be but aside from that it was such a great mini vacation. I think most people who come here are camping in tents and those sites are very private. I think we were just parked in the only location that could handle our size. Just something to be aware of if you're RVing there!

I grew up on a farm but I don't live on one anymore so when we were planning our trip I was hoping to find a place with as many animals as possible. There were donkeys and pigs outside the camper door every morning and they hung around with us when we sat outside. They were all so sweet and friendly, I was in love. It was fun to watch the big flock of geese that wanders around together. There were alpacas and sheep out in the pasture but we mostly hung around with the animals that were closer. The owner was upbeat and super friendly and helpful. We'd totally go back again!

We had a wonderful stay at the big sky tent deck site! It is in a peaceful secluded spot and the views were gorgeous. The hike up is steep so be prepared! Getting greeted by all the animals everyday was such a bonus! Definitely recommend!
