About Campground

Kenolie Village Campground is a family camping area. The campground is owned and operated by Dowley family members.

Some of the activities are Bingo, BBQ,campfires, and music on big weekends. There are also many activities that go on in the town of Newfane. Nearby towns regularly have church suppers and festivals, and July 4th parades in neighboring towns.

Kenolie Village is open from April 7th to October 31. We have sites that are rented seasonally and monthly. We have tents,**(The maximum stay length at a tent site is 14 days, there are no long term rentals for tents which includes the lean-to) one lean-to site, water hookups with 30 and 50 amp electrical. Wifi is offered near the office only. We do not have TV for our campers due to our location.

We have a small safari field for group camping and we have sites that can accommodate 40 ft RV’s and trailers. Both wooded and open sites are available throughout the campground. Flush toilets, hot showers, a dumping station, and laundry room are available for your convenience.

We have a playground for the young at heart. For the children there are swings, slides, a ball field and more. For our older guest we have horseshoes, a shuffleboard, and a shady pavilion where you can play games and meet new friends.

Finally, we have a small store with items like snack foods, ice cream, ice, and firewood.

Stayed here for a few months while looking for land in VT. The owners and family, along with staff, are amazing. The campground has many services to make your stay in the area wonderful. Thank you Buster and Laura (and family)!

One note: if you're in a car, follow the GPS. If you're pulling a rig, once you're on RT. 30 follow the signs to the campground which will take you north through newfane., Do not turn at the school.

I absolutely love this place,it doesn't have a pool or the amenities some other campgrounds have but in a way its even better. There's a nice river nearby you can walk to and swim in, if you're rhe adventurous type, there's also a nude beach also within about 5 miles or so. Its the perfect place to kick back and enjoy an early evening fire, make smores and just enjoy and stay in touch with nature.

We have camped at Kenolie Village for several years now and have to say, it is our home away from home. Kenolie has very friendly staff, many activities during the year, provides wooded and open spaces for campers or tents, very clean bath house/restrooms, is pet friendly, has two playgrounds for the kids, is right along the river for water fun too! Each site comes with fire ring and picnic table too.

Great place to camp while exploring Southern Vermont. We stayed 6 nights and got the 7th free. Loved it!
