Our farm is located on the property where the ferry brought individuals across the KY River from Versailles, KY. We are a private farm and live here for the pleasure of the land, the quiet from the city, and the outdoor activities. We want to share this with our guests.

Come and enjoy bourbon country on the Kentucky River. We are located next door to the Wild Turkey Distillery, and within miles of a few others. Our 35-acre property offers immediate access to the KY River, and is within 5 minutes of an extremely quaint downtown area, should you decide to go to town for a meal. Plenty of restaurants for your choosing! 7 minutes away is a Walmart should you forget anything. Come and relax in our peaceful surroundings. Horses, mini horses, goats, mini mules, all on site and loving attention. Bring your frisbees, cornhole, and yard games. Please know….we offer a working farm. The mules bray, the goats chatter. Just a reminder in case the pros of animals being present don’t outweigh the cons for anyone.
This is a great campground with a scenic view. The owners were very helpful and nice. The shower house was very clean. It could use some heat for those brisk mornings, but that would just make you wanna stay in there longer. Would love to experience the campground in the summer , but the beach looked well kept. Will be back next time we are through this way!
This campground is a hidden gem on a beautiful lake. The campground is very clean, organized & well maintained.
The couple who manages the campground are the nicest people who truly care about the comfort and ease of there customers. We can't say enough about their kindness.. We are making our way back home to Florida & have been able to enjoy the quiet and serene landscape. The campground provides electricity, water & a dumping station. The clean crisp fresh air is healthy for the body.
The view is amazing, the lake is amazing, its very fun but our house that we rented didn't have a toaster, it didn't have good internet or service. I understand that its in the woods by a lake but I do not understand why it only works on One Side of the house. It makes no sense I would be in the master and have great wifi and Internet, but I leave the room and it goes down immediately not to mention I can't even make a phone call in the kitchen without it cutting out or hanging up. The rest of this trip wasn't bad.
We stayed over our kids spring break. The weather was cooler but we made the best of it. Town of Murray is very close by and there is an endless amount of things to do. The campground is clean! The shower house/ bathrooms were Clean! Easy to back into our spot with a 33' bumper pull.
Fishing is usually good this time of year but it was too windy for us to go on a boat. We tried our hand at a near by campground that had deeper water off their docks but the wind was not for the kids so we just adventured off on a couple of hikes through the wood following the creek.
1st year under new ownership. My wife and I have been trying to secure a year round site at this beautiful campground for 3 years. The previous management wouldn’t take a phone number for when a spot opening would occur. After new owner Dennis Miller took ownership last fall he answered all my questions and gave us a personal tour of available sites and told of his plans to update the campground service and amenity’s. They organized a cookout for the campground and furnished food and answered questions about campground rules and changed rules where the majority of renters agreed. Now one month into the 2023 season several changes have taken place including boosters on the free wi-fi. Upgrades to the freshly painted shower houses and an improvement to allow adult children of site renters to also enjoy their parents site without the parents being present. If your looking for a gated campground on beautiful Kentucky lake, that’s clean, quiet and peaceful, give Dennis a call and ask about availability. If you haven’t seen Wildcat creek campground before your missing out on what others have found to be our little piece of heaven on earth.
