A very quiet place. We have been staying here for about a month. Doesnt feel crowded a nice river running around it.Im sure it would be so much fun in the summer looks like they have canoes for rent. No complaints so far. You can tent camp here and or park your R.V. Kentucky is beautiful.

Creek had shallow areas & deeper areas for mire experienced swimmers. Shower & bathroom a short drive away. Shop had inflatables you can buy, reasonably priced. Bridge to enter is small and inly one car lane so be aware of that. By the showers they had a food truck with simple food price was great.

Great place for whole family starting in May. Back your food cause there are no grocery stores around. Also, the water connects to Elkhorn Creek & KY river just off HWY

Stayed here for a month, friendly office staff with a clean bathroom and new laundry facility. Not much else in amenities, the creek float was a huge bonus. Would give five stars but mowers were not considerate and pelted our camper with rocks, ran over our dog tie out, and when dumping our tank mowed close enough I was covered in grass and had to step away while dumping.

I only went tubing and did not stay in the campground, they have a 10.00 parking fee for day use but offered the same hospitality that they offered to the folks camping. We dropped our things near the put in spot and parked at the get out point (all of this is easily walkable the river horseshoes around the campground. We met a lovely gentleman that moved to the property in 1938 and he offered rides and help moving gear on his side by side. It was an honor to meet him and you could tell he loves the place and what he does. The rest of the staff was just as pleasant. You can take your own equipment or buy tubes at the camp store. The river was clean and very relaxing. They have full hook up sites, electric/ water sites and primitive available. Bath house and bathroom’s available with a couple of port o pots in the areas further from the main buildings. So worth the trip and I plan to go back and enjoy their amenities more.

Stayed at there new VRBO cottage. Was very nice and quiet. Just remember to turn on patio light as it is very dark at night when coming back. But that is also a positive because you can see tons of stars!
