Been here for a week on two separate occasions in summer. We bring our boat. The ramp and courtesy dock is great. Ample boat parking near the ramp. Large sites and the cg has lots of deer, woods, and water. We choose this campground for its close proximity to the canal connecting it to KY lake so we can enjoy both lakes. Clean restrooms and great pricing. Ty army corps.

Pulled in after 7 hrs of driving. The fire pit was full of trash and trash scattered throughout the site. The camp host was not helpful said the cleaning up crew left. I asked if he could come clean it, he said nope. Asked for a trash bag the said don’t have one. Wasn’t helpful at all.

After he closed his window he screamed out a few cuss words. No one else was in there.

Pictures do not show how bad it really is. Found a Knife blade, darts and tent stakes. Such a hazard for dogs and kids that a host should have made sure things are safe.

We always clean up extra for those that left a few things but this is ridiculous.

What did we do? cleaned it up in 95 degree weather and burned it which is what the host said do. Most campgrounds don’t allow burning trash (illegal) but did what the host said.

This is our second time here and I’m not sure we will be back.

One of the best campground I stayed. The breeze from the lake is relaxing; didn’t find any bugs to bite, the lady in the check in was very courteous and changed our campsite on our request. Would be my favorite campground to come back
