March 3, 2023 we were trying to locate a spot to stay the night and go to the Ark Encounter the next morning. We called ahead and reserved a spot. Had a storm that night but all was fine. The lady was the nicest, friendliest host you could ever ask for. She was very helpful to get set up and the facilities were very nice. We totally recommend this RV Camping Village. We are from Texas, but if we ever get up that way again, we will look them up. Thank you very much.

They go above and beyond to help here. We had a vehicle breakdown and needed repair. They went above and beyond to help us out. Clean and safe environment. Boat ramp in the camp. Toilets, laundry and showers available. Pull through and back in sights. Kid and pet friendly. Walmart, Dominoes, Dollar Tree and Big Boy close by. Easy access to the expressway, but you really can’t hear it. Grass and rock sites so no mud. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit included. Lots of shaded sites. The Manager and Heather we’re both amazing and kind in helping us ! Highly recommended.

This was a very good experience, very close to the Ark encounter with affordable rates, very shaded sites which is nice in the summer. Level lot was nice and the site staff was very helpful. They have an absolutely amazing dog park run area huge field fully fenced with double gate entry.

This campground has a lot of pros and cons.

Pros: online booking, pricing, easy access, close to the ark encounter, restaurants, and fuel. Propane fill on site (we did not use it but good to know) people were friendly, dog park was big and nice, beautiful lake onsite with reasonable kayak rental. Loved the sewer hook up, it was angled and ground level.

Cons: depending on your site, it can be VERY loud with highway noise. Bath house needs a LOT of attention, but the owners are aware and have a notice up that they will be working on them. In the meantime, I would plan on using your own bathroom.

Wood for sale was very wet and didn't burn well.

I would go back for another weekend trip on our way to the ark. I hope they can make renovations soon on the bathhouse. It's what kept me from giving a 5 star review as a good overnighter.
