Hookups worked. Place was clean..peaceful and quiet most of the time.
They are building cabins and adding more sites so there were gravel deliveries and dirt too. Only amenity was a women/men bathroom. I thought their rate was kind of high for just hookups and bathroom.
They also have a no cancellation policy! I was ill and needed to cancel and they would't. Not a nice thing to do future customers. I will not stay there again.
Very nice (new) owner. He's working on cleaning it up. Sites are a bit small but our 32 foot class c fit fine. Full hook-ups were nice. Water pressure was light but we just filled out fresh tank. Bath house was clean. Beautiful landscape around the campground and close to the town of Custer and the park.
Cabins are small and can be priced better. Avoid if you feel claustrophobic at times.
My favorite campground! The location is great and the view is breathtaking. Kevin is a fantastic host and had great suggestions for local sightseeing. My traveling companions and I stayed in a cabin and Custer’s Loft. Both were extremely inviting, clean, had comfortable beds and plenty of space for us to enjoy some downtime when we weren’t out sightseeing. The board games were a nice touch too!
I’ve stayed here twice and have met amazing people both times. Will definitely be back!
This review is about 10 months late and that is 100% my fault. We were gifted a weekend at this resort for Veterans Day in honor of my husband's service. It was an incredibly generous gift and although the resort was under construction at the time, it was a relaxing weekend away in November. We didn't have the opportunity to meet Kevin, but we met some of his staff and were treated like royalty
We would highly recommend this resort for anyone who is looking for a peaceful quiet weekend. We need to get back again and see the improvements. I hear it's awesome!
