This resort has a beautiful and peaceful location. We got the river view room and it was well worth it. The sweet lady that checked us in was super fun to talk with while we were filling out the info for the room. She was very warm and inviting with her attitude and sweet smile when we walked in. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. So glad we chose this place for our stay in South Dakota!!!
Definitely Recommend!. Had just a 1 night stay omw back to MN. Check in was fast, room was easy to access, beds comfy and clean. Our first floor room had a back patio directly off our door. Great to walk down to the water at night. Sat at the bar, food was really good!
The rooms were of good size with fairly clean sleep quarters. The bathroom, however, showed signs of inadequate repairs from items that had been previously mounted to the walls, the shower heads were showing signs of water damage, and the trim on the pipes were separated from the wall.
The area was located in a very picturesque location, the staff was friendly, and the facility overall was better than most, including a recent stay I had at Tru by Hilton. This location would benefit from more attention to detail by the maintenance staff with room inspections to correct unsightly nuisances. Also, it's the 21st century. Either the property or the supplier of their vending machines should significantly update the machines to accept credit/debit payments.
Overall a 7/10 rating this is a fine property that could do for minor updates and minor changes to bring it closer to a 10/10.
Excellent service, food and accommodations! I love a good burger and the Camp burger was one of the best I've ever had!! I highly recommend it. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
We'll be back here again next trip west for sure!
We loved our stay!
The rooms could use some upgrades and maintenance improvements, however overall it was a great place to spend the weekend.
The restaurant was delicious, and every staff member we encountered was so kind.
The view is spectacular and I bet in the summer it's a blast!
