From jct Hwy 50 N & I-90 (exit 263): Go 2 mi E on I-90 (exit 265), then 500 feet S on Hwy 50.
Nice, quiet campground with playground and lot of trees. Very convenient location right off I-90 and able to find pull through or back in spot easily. Showers have low pressure and timed out spray after 1 minute. You can restart water as many times as you like but it does time-out after 1 minute.
This is a trailer park only the trailers are campers - we are talking permanent campers. Mosquitoes everywhere! And the permanent resident across the lane has a little dog - I love dogs but this one barked incessantly at every little noise- close a cabinet- bark 30 minutes, put a spoon in your sink - more barking ALL EVENING! No one at the office no answering the phone- the worst - it was the kind of place the you date not say anything for fear that your rig would be compromised while you sleep- yup that kind of place- Happy Campers- NOT
It's not a bad campground; however, no one was in the office all weekend. There is only one rule posted about four wheelers. They have to stop driving them at 10 pm. No one follows that. People speed up and down the roads. Fireworks were shot off all hours of the night and trash was all over our campsite from them. Also every morning we found piles of dog poop on our campsite. Basically no one enforces any rules and people are inconsiderate and rude. Disappointing.
Enjoyed a night of camping last week, it wasn't too bad for what we were looking for. Tent area does not have fire rings, however. We were disappointed by that but we were quickly upgraded to a site that had a ring. The bathrooms are nicer than I expected. Overall good place.
