Nice state park with a long beach ideal for quiet walks. Went here on a Saturday afternoon with my wife. Lots of windsurfers, swimmers, and people generally enjoying the beach. My wife called out that the pebbles are outstanding. I would definitely go here again.

Why 4: I actually wanted to visit the lighthouse, but could not find directions.

This is a lovely beach which has a paved walk through the dunes. My dog loved it. The surf is fairly rough for small children but they love playing in the sand

Beautiful park, well maintained, but feels kind of wild still... Great beach combing...

Stopped at the Westport Light State Park on the Westhaven beach side and checked out the surfers, watched the waves, and then checked out the small pond. Then, went to visit the Gray's Harbor Lighthouse, but it was closed, so were only able to get a few pics. Next, we went to the other side of the park and walked the Trail System. Nice spot to go for a walk, enjoy the views of the Sound, watch kites in the sky, check out all the memorial benches, viewpoints, and you can see the top of the lighthouse along the trail. Both sides have bathrooms by the parking area and one side (non Westhaven Beach side) has picnic tables and BBQs. The lighthouse is $5 but check the opening houses as I think they are only open Sat/Sun. We went back the next day and it was going to be a 45 minute wait in the rain so we left. They only allow 8 people inside the lighthouse at a time due to tight quarters at the top. We have 4 people ahead of us and didn't know how long the 8 people were going to spend inside.
