This campground offeres 14 individual trailer/tent sites and an improved dispersed camping area for groups. Elevation 4200'
From I-90 Exit 101 - Thorp travel south for 2 miles on Thorp Highway. Turn right on Cove Road and go 4 miles to Manastash Road. Turn right and follow Manastash Road, which becomes Forest Service Road 31 for 19 miles. Turn right on Forest Service Road 3104, Campground is on the right.
Awesome series of trails and perfect place to find an out of the way campsite. Bring your Discover pass 👍🏼
The drive in and out of this place sucks. It's a hang on by the edge of your fingers, take a couple Xanax kind of ride. Straight up and down a mountain on a troc cliff edge. Otherwise the park is quiet. Except for the dirt bikes . Annoying.
Clean vault toilets. Not a crowded place to camp. Plenty of Jeep trails. Bring your ground clearance and suspension because it's rocky!
Great camp. Secluded. Vaults are clean and distance between camps can be good. During busy times people will find any empty slot which tends to be any visible gap in the trees.
Don't forget your national forest pass!
