This is such an undiscovered place, I shouldn't be reviewing it. But if you want to experience a real isolated wilderness area, this is it.
Great adventure. Not for novice hikers. Road into trail area can be hazardous. Recommend four wheel drive vehicle.
Great place to backpack and hike. We also saw several people fishing. As others have mentioned, the road in is rugged so have an appropriate car. Other important thing to know: to get to any campsites, you have to do at least one creek crossing. When we were there (mid-March) the water came up to almost my waist (I’m 5’7”). It was harrowing, I won’t lie. But the trails are well maintained and the scenery is beautiful.
This area is only for people in good health and strong body since it is isolated and it is not frequented by the masses. A visit there has to be well planned and it has to be done only by seasoned people by addventure. Yet the nature there is very beautiful.
