War Creek Campground is open from May - October. Maximum stay is 14 days. Maximum length of campsites is 25 feet.
In Twisp, WA, at the intersection of State Rt. 20 and Twisp Rd (Twisp River Rec Area sign), take Twisp Rd west 14.2 miles to campground on left.
We have our favorite campsite. This morning it was fun to watch the helicopter dropping trees for the increased salmon habitat.
I came in late and found this campground. it has around a dozen sites that can accommodate most rigs. I found that there is no garbage cand or water on the site.there is awell hand pump but the handel is missing. Quiet and you can hear the creek in the distance. I would stay here again but bring everything you need.
Camped here for Labor Day weekend, 2020.
Water pumps are still out. That's why the 4 stars. Otherwise it was beautiful! Creek was perfect for the hot weather, even saw a bear .
This is a small, clean, and nicely organized campground. Spacious sites with picnic tables and fire rings, although I was concerned that there was not adequate clearance between dry grasses and the fire pit in my site. (It was less than 5 feet.)
Numerous hiking trails in the area.
