About Campground

SPECIAL NOTICE: Crews from the Forest Service and the Washington Conservation Corps will pull and hand-spray Crupina, a noxious weed, in this area through the end of April. The crews will be camping at Prince Creek Campground. The campground will be open to the public, however available camping sites will be limited and the campground will be more crowded. This boat-in campground is located on the shores of Lake Chelan and borders Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness. The area offers a floating dock with a three boat capacity. Prince Creek offers six tent sites, five fire rings, five tables, and three toilets. Good site for larger groups. Provides access to: Lakeshore Trail #1247, Prince Creek Wilderness Trail #1255 within Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness.

Directions

From Chelan, boat approximately 34 miles up lake. Prince Creek Campground is on the north shore. OR From Chelan, travel south on Highway 97A for 3 miles. Turn right onto Southshore Road and go approximately 17 miles to Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park. From the Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park boat launch, boat approximately 15 miles to Prince Creek Campground on the north shore. Notes: The Lady of the Lake provides passenger ferry service from Chelan to Stehekin with stops available at Fields Point, Prince Creek, Moore Point, and Lucerne. If you are at Prince Creek or Moore Point waiting to be picked up, “flagging” down the boat may be necessary.

What an experience to make a stop here on our boating trip on Lake Chelan. We were the only peeps at the camp. Stayed an ate lunch on the dock. What a great spot for us Californians. We had a great time here at Lake Chelan.
